With these kits, we can hard-mount your existing Zeiss or Cooke lens in either the original Arri BL mount or in Aaton or PL mounts. Another advantage: when using the Zeiss 10/100 T2 in normal 16mm, vignetting problems are eliminated.

The cost of the conversion, at our facility in Miami, includes conversion, focus adjustment on autocollimator, and replacement zoom and iris scales. No need to ship your lens to England for conversion.

NO-COMPRIMISE CONVERSION FOR ZEISS 10-100 Mk. II

Are you a lens purist? Do you have a pristine 10-100 T2.0 Mk. II Vario-Sonnar? CinemaTechnic now offers a factory conversion to 11-110 T2.2 Vario Sonnar. All work is done at Carl Zeiss Oberkochen by the same technicians that assemble the lenses. All needed parts are upgraded to the latest version and the lens becomes a true Super 16 11-110mm T2.2 with no optical compromises whatsoever. The cost will be at least double the cost of the Optex conversion, but the results are worth it. You will still save thousands over the cost of a new lens.

We also offer a conversion for your Zeiss 10-100 T3 or T3.3 to fully cover the Super 16 format. Conversion is available in either Arri Bayonet or Arri PL mounts.

The 10-100 T3 (T* coating) becomes an 11.5-115mm T3.5

The 10-100 T3.3 becomes an 11.5-115mm T3.8. We do not reccomend converting the non multi-coated version.

A new zoom gear and 80mm front are included.
This is one of the most economical zoom lens/conversion combinations for Super 16.
